Senior Adults

At First Baptist Church our Senior Adults aren’t washed up and forgotten. Absolutely not! They are a vital and vibrant part of our church fabric. They love to serve and we love to serve them.
Our Senior Adult Ministries reach out to all in this crucial stage of life (even if they don’t want to admit they are in this stage of life yet) in order to help them see their usefulness to the Kingdom of God. They are a testimony to God’s faithfulness and an example of God’s continuing provision.
The Senior Ministry is led by a wonderful couple who volunteer their time to this age group. Richard and Lynda Myers are full of life and love for the Senior Adults of FBC. They have a heart for the Lord and deeply desire to see God glorified even in the latter years of our lives. They are a great blessing to this church.
Once a month, on the third Thursday, they host a lunch for all Seniors to attend. This is not only a great time of fellowship but also a great platform for Bible study and planning for the many events our Seniors participate in. We invite you to come serve alongside and with our Senior Adult Ministry.
